Volunteer opportunities

Parents make a difference!

The key to a child’s success in school, besides a quality teacher, is a supportive parent.  Briargrove offers several ways for parents to be involved in their child’s educational experience.  It may include volunteering directly in the classroom or assisting the school through the PTO.  Children enjoy seeing their parents at school working alongside their teachers and with other parents.

Parent support makes our annual carnival a huge success.

Briargrove Parent-Teacher Organization
As a parent or guardian of a Briargrove student you are part of the Briargrove PTO.  There is no cost associated.  The purpose of the PTO is to collaborate with administration, faculty, parents, and community to create an enriched school experience for our children.  We coordinate volunteers for a long list of activities both academic and event related.  We are also instrumental in the fundraising that helps to fill the gap between state and district funding.

Please remember that volunteers are needed for all of our school events.  If you are interested in volunteering for a specific event, please read all emails and Living Tree posts for event volunteer information.  You can always contact the PTO board member in charge of the event (see below).  You may also contact the President if you have questions or a have a special talent you would like to share.
