Dad’s Club Rocks!

Thanks to our amazing Dad’s Club President David Dollinger and his team for a great kick-off cookout!  Not only did the Dad’s Club host the cookout on Friday, they ALSO helped our teachers get their classrooms ready earlier in the day.

Welcome to the Briargrove Elementary PTO Website!

Join our community and volunteer your time, treasure and talent to support Briargrove Elementary.

Over 60 years ago, four dedicated parents came together to form an organization to support a new public school that was being built for our community. The Briargrove Elementary Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) was established to create a strong, collaborative partnership between the faculty, staff and parents and to contribute to the education and development of our children as citizens, scholars and leaders in a safe neighborhood environment.

Today, Briargrove Elementary is just that – an excellent example of  neighborhood only education and a model for parent volunteerism, collaboration and support not only in Houston, but on a state and national level as well. We are one of the most culturally diverse schools in HISD with thirty-seven different languages spoken, which make us a true reflection of the world around us.

So how can you help? if you are interested in volunteering with the PTO, please check out the 2018-2019 Briargrove Elementary PTO Officers and Committee Chairs where you’ll find our contact information for various committees and board positions. We’d love to have your help!

Thanks so much for visiting our site! If you have any questions, please let me know.

Go Briargrove!
